Heroic, handsome and well-chiseled stuntman Robert 'Rib' Hillis (as Jack Black) attracts curvy brunette script girl Terri Ivens (as Rose) and sexy blonde B-movie actress Shandi Finnessey (as Kimmy Weston).

These giant snakes are the result of an unholy union between a piranha and an anaconda. While shooting a low-budget monster movie entitled 'Head Chopper 3' in Hawaii, a film crew is terrorized by the titular creatures. The scientist reveals that he had the egg, so they try to escape via boat. The second Piranhaconda arrives and, sensing blood, attacks its wounded mate. The snake follows the crew, who are in a truck, but is wounded by a grenade. The lead kidnapper finds a camera and realizes that the scientist stole the egg, which caused the snake to attack, and he decides to kill the snake, and the crew.

The snake comes to the kidnappers' hideout and attacks. Meanwhile, a Piranhaconda roams the island, along the way eating an island-goer, and some scientists searching for a rare flower. The star, the scientist, and some crew-members get kidnapped by some money-craving people who put them on ransom for some dough. The scientist who stole the egg hitchikes the island and meets up with a movie crew on-set of filming. Avoid this mess unless you are addicted to lovely redheads.In this sequel to Sharktopus, two Piranhacondas hunt down their stolen egg. I felt that the director was simply trying to figure out how to prolong this mess long enough to eke out the requisite 90 minutes, sans commercials. The snakes moved much faster than the action. The film seemed to drag on forever as inept warriors pointed their fancy guns into dark corners, and blasted away at cartoon snakes to no discernable avail. The characters, and the acting, quickly fell apart under vague and vapid direction. It seems that the director just didn't know how to portray people with any sense of timing or reality. The only character I even cared about was the beautiful Russian redhead, and that's just because she is so gorgeous to watch. They are mechanical vehicles of the plot, which is terminally boring from the first scene. They are so badly portrayed as to have no personality, and absolutely no sense of dread about them. The snakes are almost incidental to the film. In my estimation these 'lighter than air, faster than greased pigs' reptiles are utterly without any redeeming 'monster' qualities. This one follows the really awful, 'en vogue formula to the hilt, and straight down the slithery slope of utter ennui.

I dearly love monster movies, but these snake pictures are simply useless. Someone with Science Fiction clout, but no talent, in TV programming has decided that giant snakes, among the slowest creatures on earth, make frightening movie monsters.
